The San Francisco Chapter of the NASPP and the San Francisco Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council, are hosting a joint session on Understanding How Successful Equity Compensation Programs are Structured and Communicated.  

The session will cover the following areas:

Equity plan design successes & failures in companies during their growth or downsizing
Case studies for successful employee communication 
Measuring the success of equity compensation programs within the larger goals of recruiting, retention, and financial literacy. 
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY:
Mike Reinschmidt, Managing Director in Total Rewards, Accenture
Mike\'s responsibilities include the Global Equity team which is responsible for the design, administration and policies for Accenture\'s global equity programs including IPO Founder shares, Share Options, Restricted Share Units (RSUs), the Employee Share Purchase Program (ESPP) and Accenture’s home-grown Voluntary Equity Investment Program (VEIP). Prior to Accenture, Mike held similar roles with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. Mike has earned a B.S. in Finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Mike currently sits on the Client Advisory Board of UBS Financial Services.

Kim Vincent, Director of Strategic Accounts, Charles Schwab Stock Plan Services
For fifteen years, Kim has grown in the equity compensation space, with experience serving both large and small companies. Her primary focus has been equity compensation administration and brokerage services, and her most recent initiatives revolve around client relationships, equity education and thought leadership. She has managed client relationships at Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade and held several positions at E\*TRADE prior to that. Her background includes leading client facing teams responsible for account management, client advisory boards, implementation and professional services. Kim is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and the Global Equity Organization. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Management from California State University, Sacramento
